I think so and so does this developer of one specific game: [link] please add your 'like' +1 to the facebook page so this game and the artists and other developers behind it understand that Ubuntu isn't just being used by one or two people but by an entire community.

And even if you don't play games. Like it too, since there are plenty of people this facebook page won't reach, but would love to have games to play.

ok done.
I always admire those who share their knowledge with the community, I do not use ubuntu, im use another distribution, but I love this group and the whole community of linux.
I will never cease to thank all those who provide "free" their knowledge and their arts, for the Linux community.
Thank you.

Seems the Blender is great solution for cross-platform games.

I definitely wish there were more gaming options for linux. A lot of my friends are big pc gamers and one of the things preventing a lot of people from making a total switch to Ubuntu is the lack of native support for their favorite games. I think if we could conquer that milestone, Linux would be ready to assume a larger share of the computing industry And we would see a lot more people making the switch.

Sure. I would like to see more amusement of Games to work with Linux.

A lot of people in the forum Thread here on deviantART are saying the biggest problems that keeps them from Linux is a lack of Game support. ^^

So I am gamed to help. ^^ Though my Favorite games work for Me, but three Glitch up on not playing. So Better support means more likely they will play for me Later. ^^

I'd love to see more games be available for Linux. Even if it isn't free of cost OR open source. Hopefully the game they're developing is good enough for my pocket money.

It will be good enough, I will be uploading screenshots of elements that will be present in the game.

Sweet! :) Can't wait to see. I assume this will be for Windows and Mac as well? I've got something to look forward too when I get back to using Ubuntu if the game does develop for Linux.

For now the priority will be Linux, give love to the penguin first hehe. then we can focus on windows and MAC?

If we reach our goal, then I will make sure we create two versions of this game, one that the users will have to pay for which will be a complete game with missions and survival modes, and the other version will be available for free but only with the survival mode.
something tells me that the free version will come first..

huh lets hope we get enough likes for now!!
